INFORMATION/BIO
Dr. Janet Cheng is pleased to offer her patients a location for Coralwood Dermatology. After caring for patients at the 326 Del Prado North site since 2010 and starting Coralwood Dermatology in 2019, her practice now has a home at 2125 SE 16th Place, Cape Coral, FL 33990 – the same great patient care, staff, operating hours, and centralization of administrative operations.
She completed her Dermatology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where she also attended medical school. Dr. Cheng is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the International Society of Dermatology, the Florida Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Society, Lee County Medical Society, and the Florida Medical Association. She is also an honorary member of the Philippine Society of Dermatology.
Dr. Cheng began practicing in Cape Coral in 2006, after serving as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, for nine years. While at the Mayo Clinic, she served as director of the Allergic Contact Dermatitis Clinic and the Laser Clinic and served on various committees.

If you’ve scheduled a skin check or procedure, avoid wearing makeup or lotions on the treatment area. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork, or download and complete your new patient forms ahead of time from our website. If you have any questions before your appointment, our team is here to help—just give us a call.
